likely place to find your siamese when the temperature is falling? |

Here we begin (and most often end) our search in
front of the fire place, where they worship the great God of warmth. Nenne
and her daughter Nova show their respect and admiration; a respect, however,
that easily passes to dissatisfaction if somebody is not handing over
sacrifices at a high enough speed in form of logs of wood. |
| In Gothenbourgh you look for your siamese buddys
behind the curtains, in front of the radiators, where the very dear friend
of Mimmi and Isa, lives: Mr. Radiator Heatmaster. It is the perfect place
for a siamese: warm, soft and with the possibility to satisfy the burning
curiosity so natural for all siamese cats, and stay updated of your
neighbours doings. |

| 2003-11-07 Helpful cats |

| I suspect that the job all cats dream about is
to just sit (lie) in front of the computer, and I bet there are several cat
owners that recognise and is most familiar with this crowd in front of the
computer. An then Hampus would like to add that lkfnösmn,m.mfhjvn-. lkerk-öl---asdfsadf dfsdvhre63efgh
dfghjyuer rthbdsdg. Tintin is on pre-maternity leave, and have no
intention to help out, but loves to supervise the work of others. |

| 2003-10-29 Abiding their time |
|
| Hampus has never, not to our knowledge at least,
been at the sea, but he likes to hang around the boat, now that it is on dry
land. Perhaps he has heard a lot of sailors tales... Anyhow, he has to wait
a pretty long time before launching will be the topic of the day. |

| And another darling abiding her time
is Tintin; her belly is really, truly huge, and still growing. We are
crossing our fingers hard and hope that everything goes as it should, and
that she will give birth to strong and healthy kittens. Hopefully with the
temperament the of their mother, and their father's good looks... (No,
dear, dear Tintitn, just kidding, kittens being your lookalikes will also be
adorable kittens, as will kittens having their father's temperament) |

| 2003-10-28 And the winner of tonight
is.... |
|
 |
...the youngsters, who stole the much desired
place just in front of the fire. This victory was preceeded by evil plans
and sly intrigues. The youngsters (i.e. the kittens and Tintin) do not dare
to turn Emma out, so they just keep circling the place, acting totally
indifferent. Emma was just running up quickly to have a sip of water
and was gone no more than 30 seconds, but that was about 29,5 sec too
long... The youngsters needed no time at all in order to take over
everybodys favourite place :-)
The loosers Nenne and Emma (in the background) had to be satisfied with the cushion, and
speaking of cushions... |
| ... Emma has not succeeded in teaching Nenne
what a real cushion looks like. Nenne is of the belief that anybody and
everybody is her personal pillows, to be used anytime she so desires. And
this spoilt lady only needs to twinkle her eyes once in order to get
her will through... |

| 2003-10-18 Beautiful,

Nenne is so very proud of having taught her
firstborn daugthers that true siameses do not sleep alone. A true siamese
sleeps on his or her people when given the chance, which
Nenne's daugthers so charmingly demonstrate! All of us living with a cat (and
especially a siamese) are impressed with how these girls have taught their
masters to lie completely motionless... |
| Just once in a while, and then only as a proper
punishment for disobedient masters (who for example have the bad taste to
leave for work), is it possible for a siamese to sleep on her own... alone
with another cat, of course. Beautiful chocolate tortie point Mimmi and a
equally beautiful blue tortie point Isa are posing. |

| 2003-10-11 It is crowded in front of the fire-place.
Nenne is most excited that we finally have, after long last, understood how she
has longed for warming herself in front of the fire. We, on the other hand, had
happily repressed her nagging... |

Nenne simply loves to lie in front of the fire-place, warming
herself, but she refuses to lie there on her own. She calls and entices, she
runs up and down the stairs, begging her children and Tintin to follow her to
the warmest place in the house... |

| 2003-10-10 In the middle of the grief, loss and despair,
the (non-digital) pictures from the summer days have been developed. The last
pictures of our beloved Mimmi are dear, dear memories. |

Skipper is a mollusc... He is the
first to jump into the water and the last to get up. His diving skills
could probably be improved though. |

|
One of the last days of the summer, Mimmi is still herself, not pained by
illness. She is truly her own self: alert and happy.
The dog with slightly reduced hearing (Mimmi, 17,5 years) and the dog with
practically no hearing (Vanja, 13 years) are those who refused to look at the
photographer. Instead they are looking at their respective masters, who they
know has their pockets full of candy...
